Think about a movie soundtrack, or the background music for a novel or a comic book. Or maybe no, think about a rap beat. Or about the theme of a '80 sci-fi tv show... Or, again, imagine the electronic remake of a David Bowie or Pink Floyd song. Or, maybe, think about all these things at once.
This is "12 Stories". Every song, a possible story... but without a narrator nor a script. The story takes place in the head of the listener, entrusted to her/his own imagination.

Track by track, rough analog synthesizers weave with polished samples and flow through patterns which, with simplicity, hold up the listener with solid electronic drums, like a conveyor belt.

Attarus comes back with this solo instrumental electronic album, open to experimentations. Making the most out of his Hip-Hop beat maker experience, he collected some of his most recent works into an album bond together by a strong concept.
Anyway, don't take it too serious: in the end he composed this music with the same feeling of a kid who, in the '80s, was playing with Lego blocks on the carpet in his living room, while on the TV they were showing an episode of "He-man and the Masters of the Universe".

The album has been entirely recorded, mixed and mastered in his home studio.

Pensa a una colonna sonora per il cinema, al sottofondo per un libro, o per un fumetto. O invece no, pensa a un beat per un pezzo rap. Oppure alla sigla di un telefilm di fantascienza anni '80... O ancora, immagina il remake elettronico di un pezzo di David Bowie o dei Pink Floyd. O magari tutte le cose insieme.
Questo è "12 Storie". Ogni brano, un possibile storia... Ma senza narratore e senza trama. Il racconto si svolge nella testa dell’ascoltatore, affidato alla sua libera immaginazione.

Una traccia dopo l'altra, ruvidi sintetizzatori analogici si intrecciano con raffinati campioni e scorrono attraverso motivi che, nella loro semplicità, sostengono l’ascoltatore su solide batterie elettroniche, come su un nastro trasportatore.

Attarus ritorna con questo disco strumentale solista tutto elettronico, aperto alla sperimentazione. Mettendo a frutto la sua esperienza nella produzione di beat Hip-Hop, ha raccolto alcuni dei suoi lavori più recenti in un album legato da un'idea forte.
Non prendetelo però troppo sul serio: in fondo ha composto queste musiche con il sentire di un bambino che negli anni '80 giocava coi Lego sulla moquette del soggiorno, mentre in TV passava una puntata di "He-Man e i Dominatori dell'Universo".

Il disco è stato interamente registrato nel suo home studio dove è stato anche mixato e masterizzato.
